Hello, I'm Almaden! I specialize in face, body, and accessory mods that add unique details to your xiv OC; all genders and races. Examples of my usual work include:

Face textures: makeup, natural features such as freckles, scars, moles, etc, redrawing lashes/brows, facepaint, eyesFace meshes: face sculpts, attaching ears, horns, whatever-stuff-you-like-on-your-headClothing: mash-ups (vanilla/ports), any kind of texture editing to clothing. Not doing ports/creation of clothing meshes yet.Accessories: ports, mash-ups, piercings, ears/tails, jewelry, nails/claws, etc

Body textures: tattoos and body paint, scale recolors, new/custom scales, cybernetic features, natural features such as freckles, moles, scars, stretch marks, blush, etcHair: ports, vanilla mash-ups, upscaling textures, redrawing alphas, redrawing highlights (sort of okay at weights, still learning)Props & Minions: ports, vanilla mash-ups, retextures, pretty much anything that doesn't involve complicated rigging

I started working with textures first, so that is what I'm most comfy with. I'm starting to learn about making new custom content in Blender and other 3D programs. Substance Painter + Photoshop are my go-to for texture work. Body seams are generally not a problem with the workflow I utilize. I work with all body mods for all genders.

I strive to make sure all of my skin mods are compatible for Gen2/vanilla, Gen3, and Bibo+ gear with minimal-to-no seam issues. For male bodies, I use TBSE and include vanilla compatibility; older versions of The Body series should also be compatible without issue.

I do my best to make sure everything works properly. If you find any problems, reach out to me on Discord (DM me or ping me) so I can fix it. My Twitter notifs are usually set to silent for my own sanity.

Permissions & Terms

My work consists of designs created by and drawn by me. Most of my texture assets are self-made, some are paid and licensed, and a few basic ones are freebie clip-art. I try to avoid using existing works and others' works (unless given permission). I don't use textures "as is" when I do ports, I prefer to remake them to better suit the XIV art direction. That being said, I've always viewed modding as an open-source-community kind of experience. I'm always happy to see people use my work in whatever way suits them best!

TL;DR: you can use my free/public work for your mods and projects.have fun with my stuff, and please credit me if you do a release!

1. Upscales, downscales, body conversions: Yes.
2. Texture edits, 3D edits, ports, edits of any kind: Yes.
3. Tracing, mash-ups or "frankensteining" makeup, tattoos, designs: Yes.
4. Using my work² for financial gain: No, unless the mod in question states otherwise on the release page.
5. Using my work for other games besides XIV (for making free content): Yes, and please remember to credit me!
6. Using my work for content related to VRchat, VTube, PNGtube, etc: DM me first. (I usually have files that could make your project easier)
7. Re-hosting, re-uploading my work: See below.

Big Nope List

Do not share links to my early-access mods before the specified public release date.¹Do not sell or claim any of my work without my explicit written permission. This applies to all of my work, including unfinished and private.Do not claim any of my work as yours under any circumstances.♦ I respectfully ask that you do not use my work in any way that pertains to or encourages hateful and/or illegal acts/content. That would be a huge bummer.

Where can I post mods containing your work/assets?
XIVMA and Nexus are a couple of widely-used options
⬩ Other public mod sites are OK too! (I don't personally keep up with all of them)
⬩ Please do not host any of my work on Discord servers, free Ko-Fi/Gumroad/etc shops, without asking me first. (TBH I'll more than likely be fine with it; I just prefer there to be centralized access to any mods/edits containing my stuff).

Can I commission you/another modder to alter one of your mods?
⬩ If my commissions are open, then you can absolutely make that request through the commission form.
⬩ If my comms are closed, or for any other reason you prefer, you can always commission someone else, I do not mind at all.

I commissioned you for a private mod, can I share it?
⬩ Since I charge a 10% fee on private commissions, you already paid for your own exclusive access. If you want to share it amongst your close friends/family, that's up to you! I just respectfully ask that you not claim it as your own work and/or try to resell it.

I am not affiliated with nor do I share the opinions of anyone associated with the aforementioned links. Links may be subject to change at any time.

1 : The mod and its contents stay only with you during this period, with some exceptions: sharing with your family, significant other(s), and a few close friends is OK! Please, no uploading or rehosting, no Discord links, no giving away/selling, etc.2 : "work" refers to mods, 2D assets, 3D assets, art, and conceptual designs
